What do you do when you’re at critical mass point with your ebook creation and life interferes? Change your plans!

I’d planned to spend a majority of my day working on my upcoming ebook. I’m tantalizingly close to being done–well probably two-thirds done. My goal was to complete the first draft by Monday.

Enter real life, with blinds that need to be hung, a family to be fed, friends that need consoling, neighbors that need help, and, well, life.

The way I see it, I have two choices. I can bend like a reed or snap like a brittle branch. If I bend, the project will still get done and I’ll keep my serenity. If I snap, everyone around me suffers and so do I.

What do you chose when real life intersects your business plans? Think about it.

Gotta get back to work on the ebook!
