I have always loved learning new things and sharing them with other people. This blog will make it possible for me to share information with even more people.
Colorado is where I call home, now, but I’ve lived in Missouri, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Georgia, and even Germany. My very brave high school German teacher took 14 rowdy students on a European vacation that I’ll never forget. We saw France, Germany, East and West Berlin (yes, before the wall went down), Austria, and Switzerland. Little did I know I’d be going back to live in Germany just a few short years later. While living there, I went back to Paris, explored Germany, and visited Spain.
I’m a jack of all trades (and a master of only a few) who enjoys hiking, biking, and traveling. I love to read non-fiction and perform research on topics that interest me. My friends often seek me out to find answers to puzzling questions, which I can usually do with online research. My main job right now is to homeschool our son–I’m getting a fabulous education that way and he really keeps me on my toes!
